Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV is a Japanese web anime series produced by Square Enix, with animation by A-1 Pictures. The five-episode series is free to watch and began airing on March 30, 2016, on Square Enix's official YouTube channel, and is being streamed on Crunchyroll. Each episode is 10-minutes in length. The series revolves around the four main characters of the 2016 role-playing video game Final Fantasy XV, and is a prequel story based in the world and continuity of the game, which is thematically linked to the Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries. The anime is intended to give people a view into Noctis' mind that would have appeared incongruous within the context of a video game. The anime will also be included in the "Ultimate Collector's Edition" of Final Fantasy XV, and will include a sixth episode.
